Dear Ones,
I wanted to send all of you a quick update on my parents and siblings. As I look back over the past two years that my family has been preparing to go serve the Lord in Cameroon, Africa, I am blown away by God's great faithfulness to sustain them each step of the way. Finally today...after months of preparation, prayer, waiting, strategizing, etc...my family embarked upon the great adventure God has called them to in Cameroon. They left this afternoon after checking in all their baggage and going through security at the airport. Right now they should be flying somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Lord truly blessed my family and I this weekend in allowing all of us to be together again before they took off today. It was hard to say goodbye, but we could not be more happy and proud to see our parents and siblings walking with the Lord and serving Him at the orphanage in Cameroon. Our greatest desire is to make much of Christ in every area of our lives and so it is our joy to see our family making much of Christ.
So thank you so much for your prayers and please keep them all in your prayers this week as they arrive in Cameroon tomorrow. So far their travels have been going smoothly...praise the Lord! I'll keep you all updated on any "new" news.
